Chicken Grit to Aid Digestion

Chicken Grit (Insoluble and Soluble) also known as gravel or grit, is an excellent supplement for proper hen digestion. 

Composition of Chicken Grit

100% natural, it is a mixture of small rocks and minerals that birds ingest to help their gizzards effectively break down the food they consume, such as grains. Since chickens have no teeth, the food they eat is ground up directly in their digestive system.

Usage and recommendations

Leave some in the pen or henhouse at all times. Chickens feed as much as they need.

There's no need to add it to the feed, you can simply offer it in another container or place it on the floor of the outdoor pen.
