Flaxseed is an excellent source of vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids. It helps prevent vitamin E deficiencies, which can lead to balance issues and neck twisting in birds, including laying hens.

When hens receive an adequate supply, the eggs they lay are richer and taste better.

Usage and Recommendations

Have it available in the pen, coop or henhouse at all times. Chickens will eat as much as they need. You can mix it into their daily feed or serve it in a separate container.
